We are situated at downtown 'Pattalam Road' ('Pattalam' means 'Army', in the local Language, Malayalam) and we are told that our foreign guests are fascinated to see local marriage ceremonies, temple/church processions, etc.. Our guests can witness these attractions at nearby areas.

The historical attractions of Fort Cochin are unlike any other, in this South Indian State, Kerala. These are old monuments of British/Portuguese/Dutch periods, such as St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Dutch Cemetery & Palace, along with the Jew Town, Jewish Synagogue, Chinese fishing nets etc.

For those who desire leisurely health improvement or medical treatment, a full-fledged Kerala Government's 'AYURVEDIC Hospital' with natural herbal treatments, is situated at walking distance from our villa. HOMOEOPATHY & ALLOPATHY based treatments are also available and such Hospitals/Doctors and medical shops are nearby. Many of our guests, who stayed with us, took full advantage of both long and short term medical treatment besides sight-seeing. Yoga classes are also conducted for those interested in learning this ancient Indian art and science of maintaining good health.

Unlike other parts of the country or state, Fort Cochin celebrates CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR, in grand style. The COCHIN CARNIVAL with lots of fun and frolic is very famous and unique to this place and its artistic traditions. The related cultural programmes are conducted between 24th December and 1st January.
